Youth Red Cross club organizes a webinar for YRC students to kindle the awareness about infections among youngsters. It was conducted through Google Meet platform on 21st October at 2.00 pm. The topic of the webinar was Human Immuno deficiency Virus and TB infection. Mr. R .Vignesh MBA,District PPM.. Present Scenario , Government Hospital in Theni .served as a resource person. The session was interactive. His talk was thoughtful and created awareness among students. The session was also included about Corona Virus infection. A wide and detailed information were rendered in a crystal clear manner. Some tips were also discussed and advised to be followed to maintain a healthy life. Thus the webinar gave factful awareness to the students.

In Connection with World Disabled Day , Youth Red Cross, Red Ribbon Club, Hebsen & Consumer Club In Collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society – Junior Red Cross, Theni organized a special event to Special Children in Press and Day Star in 3.12.2021 at 3.15 pm. The Programme was headed by Rev.Sr.Dr.S.Jesurani. Dr.K.Sakaya Gracy Welcomed the Gathering. Mr. Surulivel, Youth Red Cross Co- Ordinator, Theni District, Mr.Nallasivan, Periyakulam Education Department Co- Ordinator, Mr. V.Maharajan, IRCS Co-Ordinator, has distributed their own manufacturing product things to the special children. Mr.Muhammed Basha, Mr.Parthiban, Mr.Saravanan, Mr.Sundar, Mrs.Dhanalakshmi, Mrs.Umarani participated in this programme. Finally Dr.D. Rajaseeli proposed Vote of Thanks.

Youth Red Cross celebrated Christmas Day by donating gifts for Homeless and Needy people who are residing in and around Periyakulam on 17/12/2021. Around 15 Student volunteers of Youth Red Cross were accompanied by Dr. Mrs.D. Rajaseeli.,the Co-ordinator of Youth Red Cross, JayarajAnnapackiam College for Women and the staff members Mrs. P. Selvarani, Assistant Professor and Ms. Preethi, Assistant Professor. Student volunteers served the needy people in rendering the gifts like bedsheets, winter shalls, soaps, eatable items. Homeless people received the gifts with heartfelt gratitude.

Youth Red Cross of Jayaraj Annapackiam College for Women (Autonomous) Organized an Inside Awareness Programme on Environmental Pollution and Environmental Pollution Control on 02nd December 2021.The Resource Person was Dr. K. Sakaya Gracy, Assistant Professor of Tamil. The Entire Programme was venue in room Number 54 at 3.00 PM. The Resource Person focused on her Speech on the Points of the causes of Environmental Pollutions and its damages to entire Ecosystem and the restoration of the Ecosystem. All the Participants of Youth Red Cross benefited a lot out this Awareness programme, thus the event was concluded meaningfully. 45 students Participated in the program, and get Finally Dr. D. COVID-19 Awareness program
Youth Red Cross organized an Awareness programme on COVID-19 THIRD WAVE for students to undertake serious measures and preventions for self-care. Dr. M .Rajendran, Chairman and Primary Health Care Practitioner SCP DR’s TRUST, Chennai served as a resource person. The programme held on 27/01/2022 in Google Meet at 2.30 pm. Dr. D. RajaSeeli, Assistant Professor of Tamil welcomed the resource person and the gathering. He instructed to take healthy foods to boost up the immunity power. He insisted to have two doses of COVID injection as soon as possible. He encouraged to have a positive surroundings in and around to have a healthy mind. He asked strictly to follow the instructions of government like wearing mask, applying sanitizer, to have social distance. He advised to follow the old days hygiene measures like taking bath for two times, adding turmeric, cow dung in our day to day life, and to take natural medicines. He motivated the students with extraordinary tips to encourage themselves in their life. 55 students participated in this program. The session was ended up with the vote of thanks.

Youth Red Cross conducted an Essay Writing competition on ‘Youth contribution on Blood Donations’ and Verse Writing competition on ‘The Greatness of Blood Donation’ on 18/02/2022 in Room no: 33 at 3 pm. 20 students participated enthusiastically in this competition. Youth Red Cross organized a programme titled Personal Hygiene of Youth Girls on 16.03.2022 at 3.00 in room no. 33. R. Vignesh and G. Ram Mageshwaran, Theni GH District PPM Co-ordinator served as a resource person. Dr. Mrs. Rajaseeli delivered the welcome speech. This session began well by the motivational quotes that encouraged the students. Important tips and advices were given in an impressive way. Students came to know more about their personal hygiene which was unfolded with illustrative true incidents. Ms. P.Preethi, Assistant Professor of Commerce gave vote of thanks. The session came to an end.

The entire event was organized by the Co-Ordinator of YRC Dr.D.Rajaseeli, Assistant Professor from Department of Tamil and Mrs.P.Preethi, Assistant Professor from Department of Commerce assisted the event. This event was organized with an objective of creating the awareness of Drug and its damages to human life especially to the students and its prevention in the society.

Youth Red Cross in collaboration with Red Ribbon club and National Service Scheme jointly organized a Special talk on 12.09.2022 at 3.00om in the Indoor Auditorium. The programme was inaugurated by Principal. Rev.Sr.S.Jesurani and organized by RRC Co-Ordinator Dr. M. Anusha Angel, Assistant professor of History. The Resource persons Mr.V.Vanasundarapandian, DM Trainer, Indian Red Cross Society, Theni District and Dr.Kanchana, Government Hospital, Cuddalore gave a Special talk and Demonstration on Disaster Management. The programme was arranged by the RRC Members Mrs. Inba Subalakshmi, Ms.M.Aruna Theetchitha and Ms.Deiva Eswari. Nearly 300 students benefitted in this programme.

Youth Red Cross of Jayaraj AnnaPackiam College for women (Autonomous) Organizes Guest Lecture on 19.10.2022 on the topic of self-motivation in the venue of Room Number 33. Dr.Sr.I.A.S. Alphonsal, Assistant Professor of Tamil felicitate this self-motivation programme. 45 Students of YRC Participated in this Guest Lecture Programme.

Youth Red Cross of Jayaraj AnnaPackiam College for women (Autonomous) planned to celebrate the Christmas day celebration with poor and needy of Periyakulam, so the YRC team went in and around periyakulam on 20.12.2022 around 4.15pm with Christmas gifts of shawls, Towels, Bedsheets, Snacks and stationary items and distributed to the poor and needy. Thus, the Youth Red Cross students brought the humanity and meaningful Christmas celebration among themselves and took active participation with Humanitarian attitude. 55 students participated in this program.

In connection with the National Youth Day celebration, the Youth Red Cross of Jayaraj Annapackiam College for women (Autonomous), Served and donated shawls to homeless and needy people who are residing in and around Endapulipatti on 23/01/2023. Dr.Mrs.D.Rajaseeli, the coordinator of Youth Red Cross, and Mrs.P.Selvarani, Assistant Professor and staff in charge, directed the students.

Youth Red Cross, Red Ribbon Club and Anti – Drug of Jayaraj Annapackiam College for women (Autonomous), Periyakulam In – Collaboration with St. Aloysius College, Mangalore organized an International awareness programme on 18th February, 2023at 2.00 pm through online mode. The session started with prayer. The Inaugural address was given by Principal. Rev. Sr.S.Jesurani of J.A. College and Rev. Dr. Praveen Martis, S.J. of St. Atoysius college. Dr. Sr. S. Irudhaya Kalai Selvam, Vice Principal and co-Ordinator of Anti – Drug Club gave the Welcome note to the gathering. The Resource person Dr. Aarthi Surendran, Consultant and Clinical lead, Department of Diabetes and Endocrinology, University Hospital Lewishan, London, United Kingdom shared her Views on Drug abuse among young people and its preventive methods. The session continued with interaction, and survey details of drugs and reason for drug usage among youngsters. She kindled awareness of the real- life incident and ended the session with some suggestion and tips. A few useful website details were also shared by her. Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr. Mrs. M. Anusha Angel, Assistant Professor of History and Co- Ordinator of Red Ribbon Club. Nearly 250 Particitants benefitted through this awareness programme.

YRC of Jayaraj Annapackiam College for women (Autonomous), Periyakulam Conducted Public Awareness use of Polythene by distribution Manjapai Among the T.Kallipatti People on 10th March 2023. 25. In connection with National Nutrition Day, the Youth Red Cross of Jayaraj AnnaPackiam College for women (Autonomous), Periyakulam celebrated it by distributing nutrition food items like Badam, Dates, Pista, Nuts, Peanut candy, and Dry grapes, to the Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School, Vadagarai, Periyakulam on 21.03.2023 at 2.00pm. Mrs. T. Rajalakshmi , H.M. of Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School, Periyakulam, inaugurated the programme with ashort awareness talk on nutrition and aided the program. Dr. D. Rajaseeli, YRC Co-Ordinator and Mrs.P.Selvarani, Assistant Professor of English and staff in charge directed the YRC students to lead the programme successfully. YRC students spread awareness of nutritious food through small talks and slogans.

In the view of celebrating the Geneva Convention Day YRC students visited physically disabled old aged People at Sri Ram Trust in Kailasapatti in order to promote the HUMAN VALUES of love and care on 11.08.2023 at 3.00P.M. YRC Students donated biscuits, Breads, Sweets, Soaps, shampoo, oil and Sarees to the Disabled old aged people.

In the view of commemorating the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer on 16th September 2023, YRC students distributed 50 saplings on 12.09.2023 in the village called E.Puthupatti in order to create the Awareness of Global Warming, Thus YRC Students promoted the Importance of the Environment and the Nature of the Earth . All together there were 20 YRC volunteers participated in this event and Dr.D. Rajaseeli, the YRC Co-Ordinator guided the YRC Students.

On October 9, 2023, the Youth Red Cross of Jayaraj Annapackiam College for Women held a special event for first and second-year YRC students. The event took place in room no. 36 at 3 p.m. The guest speaker for the day was Rtn. Sherly Jesuraj, is an expert in Vedic Maths, a skilled trainer, and a youth counselor. Welcome address was rendered by Mrs. P. Selvarani, Assistant Professor of English, staff in charge of YRC. She addressed an important topic Suicide Prevention. The main goal of this event was to help students understand the importance of mental health and to teach them valuable life skills. Suicide is a serious issue, and it’s crucial to learn how to prevent it and provide support to those who may be struggling. Rtn. Sherly Jesuraj shared insights and strategies to identify signs of distress in oneself and others. She also offered guidance on how to provide help and support when needed. This event aimed to create a caring and understanding community within the college, where students can feel safe and supported. The Programme came to an end with a vote of thanks.
